Elon Musk always seems to find a new person to argue with online, and this time, Chess.com’s social media admin decided to join the fun.

The exchange began after Musk suggested that AI could eventually completely “solve” chess, much like checkers.

 Chess.com challenged the idea by pointing out just how complex the problem is. Musk then dismissed the person running the account as a “random intern,” prompting Chess.com to quickly respond: “I’m a full-time employee.”

Things escalated from there, with the admin firing back with jokes such as “skill issue” and “even my friends don’t text me back that fast,” while Musk continued arguing that future superintelligent AI could discover ways to solve chess that humans cannot currently imagine.

For now, chess remains unsolved. But when it came to this particular online exchange, Chess.com’s admin may have come out on top.
