Two years. And yet, some mornings I still reach for my phone to call you.
I scroll through our old messages just to feel close to you. I save your voice notes just to hear you one more time. I look at my girls and see little pieces of you in them — and it breaks me and heals me at the same time.

Nobody tells you that Mother’s Day hits differently when your Mumma is no longer here. That the day meant to celebrate feels like the longest day of the year.
But today I choose to celebrate you. The way you smiled. The way you loved. The way you made everything feel safe just by being in the room.
Your granddaughters miss you more than they can even understand yet. And I miss you in ways I don’t have words for.
