AI/CC JOINS THE AIMA COUNCIL

We are pleased to announce that AI/CC has joined the AIMA Council, bringing our curatorial perspective and the voice of our international creative community to the AIMA Council Award.

The AIMA Council brings together independent AI art communities, publications, platforms, and curatorial voices to recognize exceptional work shaping contemporary AI art. Rather than reflecting a single aesthetic position, the Council creates a dialogue between different perspectives on artistic quality, originality, and cultural relevance.

AI/CC joins FRMWRK.AI, /Altered District, creAtIva AI Art Book, Ministry of Aesthetics, and FONS Magazine as part of this wider curatorial network, with each participating community contributing its own perspective to the selection process.

Representing AI/CC on the Council are Ilayda Celep paranormalitty, Margarida Barreto margarida.barreto28 , Maciej Tarnowski gla55head, and Nina Sabina Caballero ninasabinacaballero bringing perspectives across contemporary art, creative technology, curatorial practice, community, and cultural impact.

Alongside them, the wider AIMA Council brings together Bruno Lattes, Veronika Pell, Anna Puttarie, Sarah Leidig, Diana Mota, Hazel Maria Bala, Vadym Tymoshenko, Wiktor VR, Dan Cooper, and Timea Paál — forming a collective of distinct artistic, editorial, and curatorial voices.

Throughout the year, every work recognized as an AIMA Official Selection enters consideration for the AIMA Council Award. At the culmination of the annual cycle, the Council comes together to select the work that will receive its highest collective recognition.

For AI/CC, joining the Council is an opportunity to contribute to a broader curatorial dialogue around what defines meaningful artistic practice in a field continuously reshaped by new technologies, visual languages, and evolving modes of authorship.

We look forward to bringing AI/CC’s perspective to the Council and encountering the artists and works pushing the boundaries of what AI-mediated creative practice can become.
