The ceremony combined celebration, music, culture and emotion, bringing the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games to a memorable close.

🎵 A vibrant Brazilian music celebration featuring performances from Ivete Sangalo, Gaby Amarantos, Vanessa da Mata, Céu, Saulo Fernandes, Andreas Kisser, Nação Zumbi, Dream Team do Passinho, Calum Scott and more. The evening showcased the energy, diversity and spirit of Brazil.

🎸 Inspiring performances from disabled artists, including Jonathan Bastos, who plays guitar with his feet, and a powerful opening featuring deaf drummers guided through a visual rhythm system.
