Relive the full Opening Ceremony of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, held on 7 September 2016 at the iconic Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The ceremony marked the opening of the first Paralympic Games ever held in South America and welcomed athletes from 161 National Paralympic Committees to the biggest Paralympic celebration in history. 

Featuring the powerful theme "Everybody Has a Heart", the Rio 2016 Paralympic Opening Ceremony celebrated diversity, inclusion, human potential and the power of sport through spectacular performances, Brazilian culture, samba, and unforgettable Paralympic moments.
