At the Winter Olympics in Milan, Andrew Hawkins found himself in a commentary booth beside Steve Bradbury, having a drink and a chat, on the anniversary of Steve's gold medal win at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

Andrew recollects watching Steve become a legend in a single moment all those years ago, gliding through to Australia's first-ever Winter Olympic gold, and hoping to one day cover such moments live, himself.

Moments like these are what years of showing up and backing yourself quietly add up to.

🎙️Catch Andrew's full journey in episode #364 of the SportsGrad Podcast
