HCU Athletics is proud to name Bert Emanuel as just the third head softball coach in program history. A Houston native, Rice Owl, and eight-year NFL veteran, Coach Emanuel brings a lifetime of elite athlete development to the Huskies — including founding the nationally ranked Texas KAOS, where he coached and placed 25+ athletes into college programs.
He succeeds the legendary Mary-Ellen Hall, who retires after 35 seasons and 933 career wins. 👏
