## Caption

Deputies from Eagle County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a bear at an apartment complex in Eagle-Vail in August. Deputies tried yelling at the bears, hoping it would get them to move away from the area. Then a deputy fired a rubber bullet at the sow and hit her hind legs before the bear charged.
