In 2026, we’re not wasting time prompting back and forth to generate a bunch of images in the same style anymore. 

Instead, we can use Claude to run repeated tasks like this at scale, without the back and forth.

Here’s how the workflow runs:

Step 1: Define the shot. In our case, a clean product shot on a light grey background, product centred in the frame with studio lighting, a typical ecom shot.

Step 2: Give Claude access to your existing product photography. If you only have one shot, that’s fine. Claude can swap colours and generate multiple variants in one go.

Step 3: Give Claude the ability to generate images. You do this with an MCP that connects to the latest image models like Nano Banana 2 or GPT Image 2. There are multiple options 

Step 4: Tell Claude exactly what you want, including what image to generate, for which products, whether you need colour variants generated from scratch, the format you want (3:4, 1:1), and how the output should be exported and named so you can actually work with the files afterwards.

Step 5: Claude generates all the images in parallel, so instead of swapping each colour one after another, it produces all of them at once. In a few seconds, all 20 images are done.

That way you can reshoot an entire product catalogue in the time it used to take to set up a single shot.
