I turned around tonight and, for a moment, saw a New York skyline I was too young to remember.

Ahead of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2,977 drones illuminated New York Harbor in the shape of the Twin Towers — one light for each person who lost their life that day. The towers were recreated at full architectural scale. 

Seeing the towers appear over the city tonight was surreal. For just a moment, I could understand the view that an entire generation of New Yorkers still remembers.
