## Caption

Today we honor and remember all the folks who died in the 9/11 attacks, both in the immediate days and the first responders who died in the subsequent years due to cancers. Here are some of my favorite photos that I have taken over the years at various events. 

I was in third grade in Toledo, Ohio. My class was on the playground and they brought us back in. We went into immediate lockdown and watched the news in our classroom. America was forever changed on 9/11. It’s probably one of the events that influenced my desire to be a journalist.
