You can feel when a company genuinely cares about the people they serve.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak at Skechers, and their commitment to excellence is palpable.

What stood out to me was the level of thought and care that goes into understanding what their customers actually need, and then finding creative ways to make their lives a little bit easier.

Their hands free Slip-ins technology is such a great example.

It seems like a small thing: creating a shoe you can step into without bending down or using your hands.

But that small detail can make a HUGE difference depending on the person wearing it.

And as someone who is currently very pregnant and increasingly questioning why the floor needs to be so far away… 😂 I can personally confirm: this innovation is excellent.

That’s what I love about the pursuit of excellence.

It isn’t always about doing something bigger.

Sometimes it’s about caring enough to notice the small friction points other people overlook and then doing something about them.

Thank you to the Skechers team for having me and for such an awesome day. I loved getting to experience firsthand the care, creativity, and commitment you bring to the people you serve.

P.S. I may officially be ruined for shoes that require hands now. 😂
