## Caption

Twenty-five years later, the memories of September 11, 2001, remain vivid.

For those of us who were alive that day, especially in the New York, New Jersey area, we remember where we were, who we were with, and how the world seemed to change in an instant. We remember the uncertainty. We remember looking toward the sky and wondering what might happen next.

We remember the courage of the first responders, the compassion of strangers, and how people came together that day and in the days that followed.

“No day shall erase you from the memory of time.” — Virgil

Never forget.
