People really forget how GOOD Jeff Teague used to be. 😭🔥

Before the podcast clips, before all the jokes, Jeff Teague was really one of the coldest point guards in the league for a stretch.

Prime Teague had EVERYTHING you wanted from a guard.

Speed. Handles. A nasty first step. Floaters. Tough finishes at the rim. And once he got downhill, good luck staying in front of him. 😭

During that 2014-15 season, Teague averaged around 16 points and 7 assists a game, made the All-Star team, and helped lead Atlanta to a 60-win season and the No. 1 seed in the East.

That Hawks team was DIFFERENT.

And Teague was right in the middle of everything.

He could run the offense, create for himself, get teammates involved and turn up when Atlanta needed a bucket.

People look back at that era and talk about guys like Kyrie, Russ, CP3, D-Rose and John Wall, but Jeff Teague was absolutely one of those guards you had to respect every single night.

He might not have had the biggest name, but he was giving teams WORK. 😭

Prime Jeff Teague was quick, smooth and way tougher to guard than people remember.

Young fans only know the stories.

Real ones remember the BUCKETS. 🥶
