"In 2025, we had the opportunity to participate in an invited competition for the City of Győr’s new visual identity. Our proposal was selected as the city’s new official identity, designed for municipal communication, public campaigns, tourism, and future digital services.

The identity is built around a simple yet meaningful emblem inspired by Győr’s historic coat of arms. The shield symbolizes heritage and civic pride, while its subtle heart-shaped geometry reflects the city’s human character. Four integrated waves reference Győr’s well-known nickname, “The City of Four Rivers,” expressing movement, connection, and continuous flow.

Located halfway between Budapest and Vienna, Győr is one of Central Europe’s key gateways. Home to one of Audi’s largest manufacturing plants and the internationally renowned Győri Audi ETO KC, the city is defined by innovation, industry, and sporting excellence.

The emblem acts as a window into the city, revealing its architecture, culture, landmarks, and people through a flexible visual system. The identity extends across municipal communication, public information, tourism, events, and future digital platforms.

At the heart of the concept lies one defining quality: flow. Whether through its rivers, infrastructure, economy, or community, Győr is a city shaped by continuous movement, connection, and progress."
