Franklin Arias takes home two awards! Named both MVP and Defensive Player of the Year, Franklin put together an incredible 2026 campaign in Portland. 

At the time of his promotion to Worcester, he was batting .318 and leading Portland in runs (50), hits (90), RBI (52) and on-base percentage (.406). Of his 19 homers, 12 were to tie or take the lead in a game. He put together 31 multi-hit performances in his 75 games with the Sea Dogs. 

Defensively, he only committed three errors in 210 total chances at shortstop and never committed an error when playing second base. He turned 29 double plays with 72 putouts and 135 assists. His fielding percentage was higher than another Sea Dogs middle infielder this season.
