Tonight’s first pitch: right down the middle and might’ve sealed a starting lineup deal 

We’re proud to welcome 9/11 First Responder, Retired @nypd  19 Precinct Detective Chris Helms and his family as our ceremonial first pitch tonight. 

Detective Helms is a 9/11 WTC First Responder, cancer survivor from 9/11 related illness, and worked tirelessly in the ground zero area for months following the attacks. His wife, Shari, is an RN from NYC who also stood prepared to serve on the healthcare frontlines. 🇺🇸
