This summer really showed me how much you can get done when you lock in. Interned with an MLB team ⚾️ Took 12 hours of summer classes and finished with all A’s 📚 Stayed consistent in the gym 💪🏾 And somehow kept my sanity 😭 But more than anything, I learned a lot about discipline: 1️⃣ Remove the distractions. Sometimes locking in means separating yourself from things that don’t align with what you’re trying to accomplish. 2️⃣ Push through the obstacles. I got sick in the middle of everything, and life definitely didn’t stop just because I wasn’t feeling 100%. 3️⃣ Learn how to say no. Probably the hardest one. There were plenty of things I WANTED to do, but sometimes you have to choose what you want most over what you want right now. Definitely wasn’t an easy summer, but I’m proud of what came out of it. Now we take those lessons into the semester 🤞🏾 #mlb #engineering #engineeringstudents #Internship #college
