⚖️ WHAT'S NEXT FOR LINDSAY CLANCY?

joshuaritteresq: “Well, at this next court date, the prosecution is going to have to decide whether or not they're bringing charges again. I don't think that there's any question that they will charge her again. The question comes down to what will they charge her with. I know that some people have speculated that given that this was hung, and now we know 11 to 1 in favor of a not guilty by reason of insanity verdict, will they reassess and rethink whether or not they bring first degree murder charges? I spent many years in a prosecutor's office, and I'll tell you that in a case like this, I just don't see it any other way. You strangle three children to death. I don't know how that's anything short of premeditated malice, a forethought, first degree murder.”
