My family and I drove to the town of Prescott during the long weekend, and what a discovery! 🇨🇦

What impressed me most were the beautiful waterfront paths, parks, marina, and pretty Kelly’s Beach along the St. Lawrence River.

It was such a pleasure wandering around, taking in the views, and watching the big boats and cruise ships in the distance on the U.S. side. Yes, because just across the river from Prescott is the American town of Ogdensburg! 🇺🇸

We visited Fort Wellington, built in the early 19th century during the War of 1812, and one of Prescott’s landmarks, the Blue Church, a charming little church built in the late 18th century.

Prescott is also home to the well-known St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival, which features lively, music-filled productions in a beautiful waterfront amphitheatre overlooking the St. Lawrence River.

Last but not least, on weekends, you’ll find pop-up vendors next to the marina, where you can do a little shopping and pick up some delicious treats! 🛍️🍪

So many reasons to pay Prescott a visit! ❤️
