Former Gucci creative director Sabato De Sarno has embarked on a new chapter after more than a year in office, officially joining Shanghai-based high-end eco-friendly fashion brand ICICLE as creative director. He will oversee the entire product line, including men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and eyewear. Their first collaborative collection is expected to debut in Fall/Winter 2027. Since its founding in 1997, ICICLE has developed with minimalist design, natural materials, sustainability principles, and a dual-core structure in Paris and Shanghai. Currently, it has over 200 stores worldwide, and Kering Group acquired a minority stake earlier this year. Sabato De Sarno’s choice to join a Chinese brand expanding internationally will blend top global creativity with ICICLE’s Eastern cultural heritage, creating a highly anticipated new era of East-West fashion fusion.
