Aaron Donald seeing the Myles Garrett news after sitting out Week 1: 😭

The Rams spent the entire offseason dreaming about unleashing Aaron Donald AND Myles Garrett on the same defensive front, and somehow we might have to wait even longer to actually see it.

Garrett is now headed to injured reserve and will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery, meaning he’ll miss at least four games. The Rams are reportedly hoping he can return around the four-week mark.

And suddenly his rough debut makes a lot more sense.

Garrett played through the knee issue against San Francisco and finished the 27-7 loss without a tackle, sack or QB hit, later calling it the “worst version” of himself. This is the same dude who just set the NFL single-season record with 23 sacks in 2025 and arrived in LA as the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.

Meanwhile Donald didn’t even make the trip to Australia because the Rams wanted to be patient after his two-year absence. He officially came out of retirement on Aug. 30, and Sean McVay said they expect him to be ready “sooner rather than later.”

So after all that hype about Donald + Garrett terrorizing quarterbacks together, LA is still waiting to actually put both monsters on the field at the same time. 💀

At this point Rams fans just want ONE game with both of them healthy. 😭
