Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze are out here playing BACKYARD FOOTBALL

This is exactly why Bears fans have been waiting for this duo to fully take off. Caleb escapes the pocket, keeps the play alive and instead of panicking, gives Rome a chance to go make a play. Odunze goes upstairs and straight-up MOSSES the defender. Sometimes the best offense is just trusting your guy.

And remember, Rome wasn’t even guaranteed to play today. He entered Week 1 dealing with a calf/foot issue after being limited during the week, but passed his pregame testing and was active against Carolina.

The talent has always been there. Through his first two NFL seasons, Odunze already had 98 catches for 1,395 yards and 9 TDs, including 661 yards and 6 TDs in only 12 games last season.

Now Year 3 with Caleb is about turning those flashes into something consistent. Plays like THIS are what make the ceiling of this Bears offense so exciting. When the play breaks down and Caleb can basically say “Rome’s down there somewhere”… good luck. 😭

Could Caleb Williams + Rome Odunze become a Top-5 QB/WR duo in the NFL? 👀👇
