figma just gave designers the ability to build their own tools… 👀

The best part?
You don’t need to know a single line of code.

I put it to the test:

🟠Built a plugin that pulls a color palette straight from any image
🟣Applied it directly onto my canvas selection, no extra steps
🔵Hit generate to keep reshuffling new palettes from the same image
🟡Built a shader with adjustable particle count, size, and glow intensity

So instead of hunting for a developer or a separate tool, you just describe what you need and Figma agent builds it, right where you’re already working.

Honestly, this is the first time I’ve built something in Figma that used to feel completely out of reach for a designer.
