i grew up somewhere it wasn’t always safe to say who you loved.

so when i sat with “cowboy take me away,” i heard something bigger than a love song… i heard permission.

next friday i’m releasing my cover .. same chorus, pronouns swapped, same ache. made right here in the place im from.

because somewhere, a kid is scrolling tonight wondering if love like theirs gets to survive.
