Jeremy Zag on ‘Melody’, an animated feature film with Katy Perry: “Katy is very involved in the movie; she’s playing a main character, she’s working on the songs, and she’s also working on the story.”

Zag was feted as Deadline’s 2026 French TV Disruptor this week at Unifrance’s Rendez-Vous market, recognizing his work creating animated series and movies that have travelled the world.

Ahead of being presented with the award, the founder of Zag Entertainment sat down with Deadline to talk about building the #Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir universe, plans for a live-action series, ‘Melody’ and more.
