Fred Warner knows the pain of losing a Super Bowl all too well. It’s happened twice — both times to the same team: the Kansas City Chiefs.

He wouldn’t erase the lessons from either loss, but admits the second one hit different. The first time, he was a young linebacker flying around, convinced he’d leave with Super Bowl MVP. The second, he was a leader — and when one of his guys went down, the weight of it hit differently.
