Nature - Pinot Noir was Madame Clicquot’s favorite grape variety.​ She famously believed that “our black grapes give the finest white​ wines.” La Grande Dame cuvée pays tribute to her passion for this​ emblematic grape.​


Culture - Acquired by veuveclicquot in 1891, the Manoir de Verzy stands on land that once belonged to the Saint-Basle Abbey, where monks were already making wine from grapes grown in the Clos Saint-Basle. Today, its 2,500 m² kitchen garden is home to more than300 varieties of vegetables, fruits and aromatic plants.​

Craft - At veuveclicquot, regenerative soil practices go from cover crops to innovative replanting methods to naturally enrich the earth and prepare the next generation of vines.
