BREAKING: A member of the UK Armed Forces has died in a "road traffic incident" in Ukraine, the Ministry of Defence said.

The victim's family has been informed following the incident on Saturday.

The family has since requested a period of grace before further details are made available to the public.

It is understood the event was not caused by hostile action.
