step 1: first things first... toast 3 slices of pain de mie until golden.

step 2: a little dijonnaise, s’il vous plaît.

step 3: spread the spiced cranberry ginger chutney generously over the plain slice of toast.

step 4: layer the herby chicken salad evenly over the lettuce on your first slice.
