New surveillance footage appears to show 22-year-old Chicago rapper Bloodhound Q50 inside a Fuller Park gas station shortly before the deadly shooting, with Q50 seen walking past a man believed to be connected to the group that opened fire moments later.

According to a preliminary Chicago police report cited by local media, Q50, whose real name was Mikquale Cooper, was sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday when two vehicles pulled up and multiple gunmen opened fire. More than 50 shots were reportedly fired, with Q50 struck in the chest and shoulder and pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not announced any arrests.

The newly circulating footage is now getting major attention online because of how close Q50 appears to have been to people potentially involved just moments before the ambush. The investigation remains ongoing, and claims identifying specific individuals in the footage should be treated cautiously until confirmed by authorities.
