They waited nearly 11 HOURS for police to respond 😳🏠🚨

An Ottawa family in Westboro says their home was broken into overnight on August 29, with more than $20,000 worth of property stolen, including a bike valued at roughly $13,000, bags, electronics and other belongings.

The family says they called police around 7:30 a.m., but officers did not immediately attend. Around 11 hours later, a statement was taken by phone before forensic investigators were eventually sent to the home.

The situation has now sparked questions about police response times and how quickly residents can expect help after a home break-in.

Would you feel safe knowing it could take this long for police to respond? ⁉️🤔⤵️
