Ashton Daniels had a productive outing in 2025 when he played Alabama, where he finished with 259 passing yards and 108 rushing yards. This had to be a big talking point in bringing him to Tallahassee as a transfer.

However, the fan base has been disappointed with Daniels not throwing the football downfield and holding on to the football too long with not seeing the correct reads. The veteran has to find a way to gain a rhythm.

He had 16 carries for 71 yards and one touchdown on the ground in the loss against SMU. That is something the fanbase wants to see so that the offense can open up its passing game to its playmakers. However, Daniels only had 125 yards on 12 completions, and that will not get the job done if they want to win on the road in Tuscaloosa. #GoNoles #fsufootball #floridastate #ashtondaniels #collegefootball
