@‌rwknudsen’s Organic Just Tart Cherry Juice is SO bright and flavorful thanks to the highest quality fruits that R.W. Knudsen uses in every juice. It layers perfectly with a plush chocolate cake, whipped cream and fresh cherries for a dream of a summer cake!

After baking the cake layers and right before you’re ready to assemble, make the whipped cream:

2.5 cups heavy cream
2 tbsp sugar
Whip on medium speed until you have soft peaks, around 2 minutes.

Then make the tart cherry syrup and immediately brush it onto the cake layers before it has time to set up:

1 cup @‌rwknudsen Organic Just Tart Cherry Juice
2 tbsp sugar
Simmer for about 15-20 minutes, until reduced by around 1/3 to a syrupy texture, around 1/3 cup. Immediately brush onto each cake layer. If you want more tart cherry flavor, I recommend doubling this and drizzling more syrup onto the fresh cherries as you layer them between the whipped cream.
