💔 The car community is mourning the loss of James Wehr, co-founder of South OC Cars & Coffee, who died at just 27 years old.

James helped turn South OC Cars & Coffee into far more than a weekly meet, creating a place where enthusiasts of every kind could come together over a shared love of cars.

His energy, passion and genuine enthusiasm for the culture made him a familiar and respected face throughout Southern California’s automotive scene.

To many, he was not just an organizer, but a friend, a connector and someone who made people feel welcome.

The impact of what he helped build can be seen in the countless friendships, memories and connections formed through the community surrounding the event.

His death followed a crash in Irvine involving a McLaren, a tragedy that has left his family, friends and fellow enthusiasts devastated.
