💙 WHERE TO FIND BLUEBONNETS! 💙 Bluebonnet season is typically 6 weeks long from March till mid-April. The peak season is usually in April, but may have come early this year so don’t miss out on the Texas state flower!

HOUSTON BLUEBONNET SPOTS:
💙Buffalo Bayou – especially at the intersection of Jackson Hill and Memorial and Waugh and Memorial
💙White Oak Bayou – especially on the trail near 610
💙Terry Hershey Park
💙North Brasewood and Stella by the railroad tracks inside the loop
💙 Willow Waterhole

TEXAS BLUEBONNET FIELDS: Bluebonnets appear anywhere and everywhere. They’re most prevalent in the Hill Country, South Texas and as far west as Big Bend Park. You can find tons in Brenham, Ennis, Marble Falls, Kingsland and Burnett, Texas, Lady Bird Johnson Center (Austin) and Round Top, and all along 290 between Houston and Austin.

PHOTO TIPS: Wear boots in case there’s mud. Keep your dogs leashed and keep an eye out for snakes. Stick to paths so you don’t trample the flowers for others. Go at sunrise or sunset for softer light. For the love of god don’t pick them!!!
