NEW RESTAURANT OBSESSION 💙😋

Meet @oktomediterranean in @montrosecollective — it’s the newest concept from the team behind @dorismetropolitanhtx @badolinabakery and @hamsahtx (and it’s just as fantastic as its sister concepts!!!)

I’d say my obsession really began walking up and seeing their LARGE patio (so into patio season!) … and then I saw the bar! It’s absolutely stunning! 🤩 

Moving past the fantastic vibes of the decor, the menu is supposed to meet guests in the middle between the elevated dining at Doris and the more casual Hamsa experience. 👌

The cocktail menu has everything from a special Októ spin on classics like sangria and gin & tonic to Greek mythology-inspired creations like a pistachio bourbon drink called the Flight of Icarus. 🥃

Just like at Doris, you must get the bread service, which comes with the most delicious pistachio butter — yes there’s a lot of pistachio on this menu, including pistachios three ways for desert (big rec). 🍨

I can’t emphasize enough how much you need the Greek salad, which is served traditionally without lettuce, and comes with a whipped feta! For mains, alllll the fish dishes looked fab and the sea bass did not disappoint. The real standout to me was the crab squid ink linguini — it has a kick to it! 🤤
