Rolled into Vik past a little white church with a red roof, pet the cutest Icelandic Sheepdogs (I want one now!) spot puffins on the cliffs, and walk the black sand beach before warming up with lamb soup in a bread bowl as dark as the sand outside. That same black sand leads us down to Reynisfjara, where cooled lava cracked into six sided basalt towers, and sea stacks stand offshore that legend says are trolls frozen by sunrise. My son and I fell hard for this stretch of coastline!  #BlackSandBeach #SouthCoastIceland #VikIceland #BasaltColumns #reynisfjara
