🚨ATTEMPTED CARJACKING 🚨

What started as a suspicious encounter quickly turned into a call for deputies.

A suspect approached the victim, positioned a vehicle in front of theirs, and claimed to be a police officer. The suspect repeatedly ordered the victim out of the vehicle and attempted to convince them that their vehicle was stolen.

Deputies arrived, got to work, and began putting the pieces together. Through their investigation, deputies determined the suspect was attempting to take the victim’s vehicle.

The result? The attempted carjacking was stopped, and an arrest was made. 👏

A big shoutout to our deputies for their quick response.

⚠️ REMEMBER: If someone claims to be law enforcement and you’re unsure of their identity, trust your instincts and call 911 to verify.
