The four players ahead of him in scoring all rank inside the top 4 in shot attempts. KD is the one massive outlier.

And look at the Michael Jordan comparison 🤯 Durant passed MJ’s career scoring total while taking 2,357 fewer shots. That’s what makes the KD greatest-scorer argument so different. It’s not just about how many points he’s accumulated—it’s how efficiently he’s been able to pile them up without needing the same volume as most of the other all-time scoring legends.
