One year after activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed during a campus event in Utah, the organization he built has continued to expand while the man accused of killing him prepares to stand trial.

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was speaking at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, 2025, as part of his American Comeback Tour when he was struck in the neck by a single gunshot. 

He was 31.
