Why have I never seen this 🤣

Playboi Carti has become closely tied to the milly rock in internet culture, largely because of how often his music soundtracks clips of people doing the dance. The milly rock, created by Brooklyn native Milly, exploded in popularity around 2015 and 2016, becoming a staple move across hip hop culture, and Carti’s chaotic, ad lib heavy sound made his tracks a natural fit for it. Songs like his early SoundCloud cuts and later Whole Lotta Red material carry the kind of bouncy, aggressive energy that lends itself to quick, rhythmic footwork. Carti himself has been filmed milly rocking at shows and in music videos, reinforcing the connection between his persona and the dance in fan edits, memes, and short form video content across platforms.
