Makai Lemon’s first taste of regular season football wasn’t the storybook debut Eagles fans were hoping for. 3 receptions, 4 targets, and -5 yards on the day — a rough welcome to the league for the 20th overall pick. But rookie debuts have a funny way of looking different in the rearview mirror than they do in real time. USC’s Biletnikoff winner grinding through a hamstring-shortened camp and still finding the field Week 1 says more about his mindset than any box score ever could. 📉➡️📈

This is chapter one, not the whole book. Every great WR has a game like this buried somewhere in their rookie tape — the difference is what they do with the next one.
