## Caption

Nicole Simpson was evacuating the second tower after the first tower was hit. She made her way down to the 44th floor, but after repeatedly being told that Tower 2 was safe and that she didn’t need to evacuate, she decided to return to her desk on the 73rd floor. She stepped into an elevator - but at the last moment, she stepped back off. Just 30 seconds later, Tower 2 was hit. 25 years later, Nicole reflects on surviving 9/11 and the day that changed the course of her life. #911 #September11 #NeverForget #911Anniversary
