Day 3 of my five-day trip around Jalisco took me to Costalegre, just 2 hours from visitpuertovallarta, where I checked into Las Alamandas, a secluded luxury resort surrounded by more than 2,000 acres of nature and four private beaches. 

Jalisco is truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited, and if you’re looking to completely escape, this is it. Maybe you shouldn’t always believe what people tell you, especially when they tell you not to travel solo to Mexico.
