Russia will not stop fighting in Ukraine while any potential talks take place, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.⁣
⁣
Lavrov said that what Russia calls its 'special military operation' would continue during any such negotiations.⁣
⁣
Ukraine has repeatedly said that a ceasefire should be the starting point for the talks.⁣
⁣
US President Donald Trump said on Monday that Ukraine and Russia had agreed not to hit each other's energy targets, though neither side has confirmed such an agreement. Russia hit petrol stations in Kyiv on Tuesday and Ukraine said it struck a Russian oil refinery.⁣
