Kaja Kallas, the EU's top diplomat, has said that Russian strikes which hit a Warsaw-bound train near Ukraine's border with Poland shortly after top Western figures passed through were meant to 'scare' off Kyiv's backers.⁣
⁣
A Russian drone hit a passenger train on Ukraine's border with the NATO member on Sunday, shortly after former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and other European diplomats had used the same line.⁣
⁣
'It is clearly meant to scare Western countries from supporting Ukraine, from going to Ukraine to show support,' foreign policy chief Kallas said, urging Kyiv's backers to do 'the opposite'. ⁣
