Next up on the “what do you first take care of with a new-to-you car” list, was dealing with the window tint.

I worked in this industry for a few years and was turned into a believer of window film, but also the importance of stylizing it- especially on older or classic cars.

My E36 came to me with limo tint on the rear, and not the best work on the admittedly difficult-to-tint rear quarter windows and elsewhere. PSA- If your fresh tint job looks like the detail shots here, take it back.

First up was stripping all the old tint (the interior shot is of a piece of plastic liner holding water against the rear glass, helping removal in the sun (not bubbles in the tint)).

Then the master Jake at untouchables.utah applied xpel Prime XR Plus 50% to all side and rear windows, and 70% to the windshield.

Minor shade with major heat (and UV) rejection for happy regulated skin temps and interior longevity. Stylized and purposeful.
