What do you do when you first get a “new-to-you” car, say in that first weekend or two’s worth of work?

First if the firsts for me and my E36 M3 was removing a piece of vinyl from the hood, and seeing what some wet sanding and @turtlewax could take care of. Turns out… a lot.
