## Caption

Hotels currently sitting very high on my bucket list as someone who spends a third of the year scouting some of the most special properties in the world. 

1. NIHI Sumba, Indonesia @nihi - Around 400 kilometres east of Bali, Sumba offers an entirely different side of Indonesia. NIHI is famous for its Sandalwood horses and Spa Safari, where you can ride through the landscape before spending hours having treatments in an open-air pavilion overlooking the ocean. An absolute dream. 

2. Huka Lodge, New Zealand @hukalodge - A storied lodge set across 17 acres beside the Waikato River in Taupō. It has hosted royalty, celebrities and rock stars over the decades, and reopened in 2025 following a significant renovation. I keep hearing it described as having the atmosphere of a Scottish hunting lodge, which sounds incredibly charming. 

3. Singita Elele, Botswana @singita_ - One of my most anticipated hotel openings of 2026, set within the extraordinary Okavango Delta. There will be just eight completely private camps, raised above the landscape and surrounded by approximately 420,000 acres of wilderness. Singita is one of my favourite hotel groups in the world, so I am very excited about this one. 

4. Airelles Val d’Isère, France @airellesvaldisere - True ski-in, ski-out access, spectacular Alpine views and the immaculate attention to detail Airelles is known for. Their properties always feel incredibly considered, and this looks like the ultimate luxury base for exploring Val d’Isère. 

This is part three, because my list is long and always growing! I can’t wait to visit these properties someday and continue building the first-hand knowledge we pride ourselves on when planning for our clients. Follow along for more hotels currently sitting very high on my bucket list!
